Welcome to my first post. Before I get started, I’ll give you a quick summary of who I am and what you can expect to read in my blog.
Who Is Matt Fields?
My name is Matt and I’ve been a Digital Marketer since 2000. I started with a strong focus on SEO and web design. Since then, my focus has really evolved more towards e-Commerce and membership websites.
I’m also a husband and a dad so I’ve learned that balance is one of the key learnings in life! I’ve learned that life isn’t meant to live for work, but work to live. Life experiences with the ones you love is the most important in life!
What Have I Done?
I started out with a strong focus on my personal drumming website and did everything I could to increase my ranking and improve the user experience on my website. I created several different types of websites from HTML, FLASH, and then I found WordPress and absolutely love it!
Other experiences include…
- Created custom wordpress websites at a creative agency back in 2010.
- Focused on customer acquisition, e-Commerce, and conversions for a weight loss tea company.
- Managed and grew a Texas based western apparel e-Commerce company.
- Teamed up with Wishlist Member influencer and created 50+ membership site templates.
I’m currently reading Russell Brunson’s Traffic Secrets (affiliate link) and was encouraged to start my show / channel / voice with Document, Don’t Create (page 116).
Today I’m not ready to go live with this post, to drive any traffic to my site, or to reveal any of the strategies that I’m currently testing.
I’ll be covering a wide range of topics and I’ll do my best to have them organized in their appropriate categories. And as a digital marketer, yes there will be some affiliate links and I’ll do my best to document those links to be honest and transparent with my intentions.
Here are a few things you can expect to read or learn about.
As a digital marketer, I have my fingers in several cookie jars and love this industry!
I am currently working on a couple client sites that includes…
- Redesigning a Denver-based chiropractic office website
- Building a Texas-based glitter e-Commerce website.
- Developing my personal site – mattfieldsdm.com.
- And growing a set of tattoo design membership sites.
I’ll be including links throughout my post but I also have a resource page that includes most of the links that I support.
Like I said earlier, I’m not 100% ready to get started. For example, at the time of this post, I don’t even have a newsletter signup on my blog 🙁
